Two truths and a lie about Rethink Compliance:
- In 2021, we made the Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in the U.S.
- Three of our leaders are EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women
- This year, for the first time, our market value surpassed $1 trillion
Okay, okay, that last part was Elon Musk’s Tesla, not us!
But Rethink’s growth has been accelerating — in fact, 2021 was a transformational year for the business. And all that growth has given us the opportunity to bring on some fantastic people.
We take our talent pipeline as seriously as we take our sales pipeline. As we add people and processes, we’re working hard to grow well — not just big.
Since our early days, one of our strategic goals has been: Scale excellence. We want to stay true to our vision as a next-generation compliance vendor with deep compliance expertise, unbeatable customer service, and market-leading customization.
Every one of our client engagements is staffed with someone from our Client Services, Creative Services, and Advisory Services teams. (As you will see, there’s a reason we include the word “service” in each of those departments!)
To introduce you to some of omissiur newest faces, our marketing manager, Ann Allsopp, sat down with them to play a game of “Two Truths and a Lie.” Check it out below, and see how many you can guess correctly!
David Wun: Senior Director, Client Services
Good client services people are the glue that holds projects together.
Our Client Services team serves as mission control for every project. They organize every step, from the first kickoff call to successful delivery of the final, approved files in every language and format. They are our clients' first point of contact if they need something.
We’ve found that this team works best when it’s staffed by people with deep compliance program experience — people with a high level of professional maturity who share Rethink’s commitment to service.
Which is why we were thrilled to welcome David Wun in October! David took his first job in compliance client services with LRN in 2004. He moved to SAI Global (where members of the Rethink team worked with him for many years). Then he was recruited to work for The Network, which was purchased by Navex.
All this means that David is deeply familiar with a wide range of companies and programs. And, best of all? In recent years, David decided to pursue a passion for learning. He spent several years studying and working in learning design and curriculum development. Now David brings a keen eye for instructional design and a passion for effective learning to all of his client engagements here at Rethink.
Elizabeth Reisinger: Senior Content Developer, Creative Services
We started Rethink because we wanted to bring modern communications and formats to the compliance industry. We kept seeing all these amazing digital communications out there — and we wanted to recruit the people who were making them and put them to work making compliance messages just as compelling.
So we looked to fields like advertising, digital marketing, change management, and corporate communications. We sought out deeply creative people who knew how to communicate with impact.
We sometimes forget how unusual it is that our creative people attend every client call. They lead discovery sessions to understand how a particular risk or topic takes shape for that client, audience, and culture. And they do the hands-on creative work to bring our clients’ visions to life, even as part of our standard Tailored customization package.
So we’re excited to introduce Elizabeth, who recently joined our Creative Services team as a senior content developer. With over 20 years of experience in corporate communications and journalism, including editorial consulting work for some of the world’s most recognizable brands, Elizabeth knows how to craft an impactful message and truly connect with any audience. She has a deep belief in the power of a good story. And she writes courses, communications, and videos with the goal of connecting on a human level and motivating real behavior change.
Alexa Altino, J.D.: Compliance and Business Analyst, Advisory Services
Fun fact: One of our company leaders actually met Alexa at a compliance meet-up in Boston! We were impressed with her and she joined our team in late September.
In her role, Alexa supports client consulting engagements, training initiatives, and new business discussions, working closely with the lawyers and senior compliance resources assigned to those accounts.
At Rethink, we think it’s essential to include a seasoned compliance perspective on every single client engagement.
We want our clients to be able to talk directly to practitioners with deep compliance experience as they figure out the best messaging and positioning for their compliance materials and as they reflect on and refine their overall program strategy. We’ve seen other vendors in the space cut these resources and squeeze out service overall as the industry matured, and we think that’s a mistake.
As a bonus? Alexa brings a background in advertising and public relations, so she reflects Rethink’s commitment to world-class communication.
Welcome, David, Elizabeth, and Alexa! We’re thrilled to have you on the team.
